As many of you know, senior portrait sessions are one of my favorite type of session and this lovely lady did not disappoint.

We had a great time laughing and carrying on throughout the session as Zoie tried to keep a straight face...lol

This gorgeous girl is a love to wrestle, and is an MMA fighter, when she’s not working or going to school.

We had a great time getting to know Zoie and talking about her plans for the future.

This girl is beautiful inside and out and we wish her all the best in the future!

Samantha and Benjamin!

We started out at The Sandy Creek Covered Bridge in Hillsboro, Missouri. It was insanely crowded on this beautiful fall Saturday, so we just got a few photos and headed to our next location.

We had to follow Sam and Ben to the next location, the family farm, which was Sam’s grandfathers property. We are always so excited to go to a family farm, or any private venue. No cars, people, clutter, etc. to have to worry about.

We had a few things about the property that we love. Such as, the field with the trees in a perfect line, the retaining wall/gardening wall that Sam’s grandfather built. Such a unique structure and it’s so awesome that is still intact today. Lastly but not least, is the creek you have to cross to get to the property/farm. For being such a little creek, it sure ended up being a gorgeous picture!

We had an awesome time photographing and getting to know Samantha and Benjamin and we look forward to photographing and filming their wedding in November!

Fall Family Session | Medrano family at Dames Park

This sweet little family session was shot at Dames Park in O'Fallon, MO on a very windy and sunny fall day. They did a fantastic job of making seem like they were not cold and about the fly away..lol

We loved getting the opportunity to see Anne and Sergio again! We have not seen them since their wedding in July of 2018! Since then they have added to their family.

We finally got to meet the sweet and shy little Giancarlo. Although he was not super "into" me yet, we were still able to get a few smiles from this little guy. He loves the sound and sight of a little bell (how we got most of our shots) and of course Mom and Dad.

We could not be happier for these two and this wonderful little family they have created together. We look forward to watching them continue to change and grow over the years.

A Casual Fall Wedding at 370 Lakeside Park

A preview of Summer + Jacob’s wedding on October 17th, 2020.

Summer + Jacob basically grew up together, they met in their childhood neighborhood in St. Charles, MO.

Their first date was a Bradly Gilbert concert and say that their typical date night would be dinner and a movie or going to Dave & Buster’s.

Jacob proposed to Summer at their son’s gender reveal party.

Summer and Jacob had a outdoor ceremony at 370 Lakeside Park in St. Peters, MO. Despite the windy conditions, these guys were troopers and we captured some lovely photos. We are so happy we were able to capture and be there for these two on such a momentous occasion in their lives.

Theadora | Lifestyle Newborn Session

This is sweet little Theadora.

We were invited into this family’s home last Friday. This sweet family, as you can see from the photos, are already SO in love with this sweet little girl.

Little Theadora was so sweet throughout the session and didn’t seem to mind much being “passed around” so that everyone could have a turn of holding her.
Everyone was very excited to hold Theadora for pictures.

One of our favorite photos is of the oldest daughter and Theadora, she’s so proud to be a older sister and looked like a natural holding that baby. So sweet.

We had a great time photographing little Theadore and we look forward to watching this wonderful family continue to grow.

Teresa + Ian | Wedding Preview

A preview of Teresa + Ian’s wedding on September 5th, 2020.

These two sporty individuals met in collage. On their first date Ian dressed to impress and surprised Teresa with a cute teddy bear. After the date Ian carried Teresa to the pitcher’s mound and asked her to be his girlfriend.

At the end of Ian’s last baseball game of the season at collage, the seniors and their girlfriends were taking photos of each other on the pitcher’s mound. So, Teresa was already conveniently in the prefect spot for Ian to ask her to marry him in the same spot where they became a couple.

Ian + Teresa say their typical date style is anywhere from being adventurous like hiking or being casual with going to the movies or simple dinners. Ian loves to hunt and play baseball and is now a baseball coach. Teresa loves volleyball and even got Ian to play as well.

These two have lots of favorite TV show they say they can’t miss such as Law & Order, SVU, Friends, The Circle, and Good Girls, just to name a few they say😊.
They have a 1-year old puppy named Jasmine and a 10-year-old cat named Misty.

Ian + Teresa were wed at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cottleville. It was a lovely ceremony where they reciting their own vows. We simply loved the stained-glass windows and high celling at St. Joseph.

We shot “half-time” photos at City Centre Park or Rec-Plex park as its fondly know as. This group really was so much fun and you can truly see that in their photos. Teresa and Ian are so easy going and were willing to try anything. We loved having the opportunity to try out some really cool and fun photo ideas out!

They partied the night away at St. Peters Cultural Arts Centre and Teresa had a surprise slideshow made for Ian and everyone to watch at the reception.

A wonderful day filled with so much love.

We had a great time photographing Ian + Teresa’s wedding and wish them best wishes and a lifetime of happiness.

Family Session at City Centre Park | St. Peters, MO

It has been so much of a joy getting to know this wonderful little family. We photographed their maternity and newborn session. Then, their little guy, Barry's, one year birthday session.

Now, we are finally photographing the whole family together. We had such a fun time spending the day and photographing this session. It was also really special being able to photograph in same favorite spot where all these the wonderful sessions happened.

An intimate wedding at Hendri's Events

A preview of Lynda + Mike’s wedding on August 16th, 2020.

These two met online and had their first date at the movies. Mike popped the questions after a concert in Chicago. They went to a nearby bar and the band they had just seen song came on the radio! It was a perfect moment<3

When we ask Lynda and Mike to use one word to describe each other and their relationship they said “wacky and whimsical”.

Lynda’s favorite thing about Mike is his sense of humor

Mike’s favorite thing about Lynda is her compassion and her eyes.

Their favorite TV show they say they can’t miss is Supernatural and a typical date for them is dinner and a movie. Their 2 cats, Kai and Saya, and 2 dogs, Logan and Riley, keep them quite busy. When they do have time, they enjoy catching up on their favorite TV shows and playing video games together.

Lynda and Mike had a small and intimate wedding at Hendri’s Events in St. Louis, MO. They had a friend officiant them and she read a few quotes from a Harry Potter book during the ceremony. They also had Star Wars/Harry Potter instrumental music played for processional and recessional

The Pièce de resistance was the wedding cake during the reception. Complete with the Star Wars/Harry Potter cake topper and fondant golden snitch and millennium falcon.

We lovely time photographing and filming their wedding and wish them best wishes and a lifetime of happiness.

Ally's portrait session | Central Park, Chesterfield, MO

Check out my gorgeous friend Ally’s recent portrait session at Central Park in Chesterfield, MO.

Her photos came out beautiful however, this was not an easy day. The sky started out blue and beautiful but when we arrived at the park, clouds filled the sky and started to lightly rain. Hoping it would pass, we started our session. It began to rain even harder, huge droplets.
So, we waiting out the rain, which only lasted about 20 minutes 😅. So, Unfortunately, it had rain all over us and then it got super humid.

We ended up with a lovely sunshine coming through the trees at just the right time. How gorgeous is this photo!?

Ally was such a trooper as we took her through treacherous areas to get the perfect spot/shot. Laughing and having a great time throughout the whole session/day. Her smile can light up a room and her laugh is truly infectious.

We had a great time photographing and spending time with my friend and look forward to the next time.

A rustic/classic wedding at The Falls

A preview of Lynn + Ryan Grey's wedding on August 14th, 2020.

These two met at Padderborn Bar and had their first date at Applebee's. Ryan popped the big question to Lynn during a photo session.

Thier favorite TV shows are Big Brother and The Challenge and say thier typical date style is "dinner and couch". 😂 Love it! #couchpotato

These two love thier Bengal cats, Athena and Apollo, and you can catch Lynn and Ryan taking them for walks when it's nice.

Due to the pandemic, Lynn and Ryand had to change thier wedding date😩 So, they made the best of it and we did and "Re-Save-the-date" photo session complete with toilet paper, Lysol wipes, and beer😂.

We were so excited for this wonderful couple's wedding day to have finally arrived! After a long battle of pandemic wedding planning and then having to change their date, we were so happy to be celebrating this special day with these two and all their friends and family.

As you will see from the photos, the girls spruced up their little hotel getting ready room for Lynn. Giant silver balloons on the walls with a variety of purple and white balloons scattered on the bed, the ceiling, and the floor. They even got fresh flowers to put around the rooms. Little touches like that really do make all the difference and we loved it. These ladies had so much fun creating these fun "getting ready" bed/matching robe photos and video.

The fellas took their photos at the beautiful The Falls venue in Columbia, IL.
This venue is known for their many waterfall features hence the name.

Lynn and Ryan had a short and sweet ceremony. It was lovely to hear to waterfall in the background as they recited their vows.

These guys had a great time partying the night away with all their friends and family long after we said our goodbyes. We were able to steal them away for one more night photo to end the evening of the outside waterfall feature.

What a great wedding with great people. It was such a blast capturing and celebrating this special day with Lynn and Ryan and all their friends and family. We wish them a lifetime of happiness! Best wishes🥂🎉❤️

Engaged at Castlewood State Park

A few of our favorites photos from a recent engagement session at Castlewood State Park.

Teresa and Ian reached out to us about a last minute engagement session, they are getting married next month! So, we knew we had to make it happen quickly. We meet up for a sunset session, even at 6:30 pm it was still quite humid🥵😩.

There two are such troopers and are so much fun to be around! They hiked, climbed, and tracked through the mud with us to get incredible photos.
We had a great time getting to know this fun and loving couple and can't wait to photograph thier wedding in September at St. Joseph Catholic Parish + St. Peters Cultural Arts Centre!

A casual summer wedding | Piazza Messina

A preview of Madeline + Evan’s wedding on July 25th, 2020.

Madeline + Evan were wed at the lovely Piazza Messina in Cottleville. The girls got ready in the venue’s little cottage wearing awesome “tropical themed” PJs. Madeline also had little pineapple cups with straws for the girls to make drinks in. We knew we had to use it for ring shots!

They had a short and sweet ceremony outside overlooking the lake and under a beautiful pergola. They did a unity glass bead ceremony which will be sent off and blown into a beautiful sculpture.

Since it was such a hot and humid July day, we stayed inside as much as possible. We did manage to sneak these two away for a couple of shots throughout the reception and captured an neat sunset shot in out front of the venue.

They ended the evening with a sparkler exit and immediately headed to their “get-away car”. After they left everybody cheered and clapped for the parents of the couple and we captured a heart-felt moment, each set of parents kissed and held up their sparklers.

This is the second wedding we have been fortunate to have captured for this wonderful family. It has truly been wonderful getting to know all of the lovely families throughout both the engagement sessions and the weddings. Madeline and Evan are such a “down-to-earth”, kind and loving couple. They both always have a smile on their face that is such a pleasure to be around. We had such great time photographing and filming their wedding and wish them best wishes and a lifetime of happiness.

An elegant wedding at Stone House of St. Charles, MO

A preview of Melissa + Alex Jaeger’s wedding
July 12th, 2020.

These two met in 2017 as R. A’s at Bradley University, in Peoria, IL and are both from St. Louis, MO.

For their first date they had a whole day planned, super cute😊. They went to the city Peoria Heights, had pub food at W.E. Sullivan’s, painted mugs at Fired Up, and ice cream for dessert at Emack and Bolio’s.

Before Alex’s collage graduation they had “their last day in Peoria” day. They went to lunch and went to the iconic water tower overlook. Alex proposed to Melissa and then it started to rain. She said “it was beautiful and I was totally surprised.” Afterwards, they took pictures and Alex surprised Melissa again by bringing their families together for a celebration!

These two say their date style is casual and that their favorite activity to do together is mini-golf. They also love trying out new restaurants together. Melissa enjoys reading, playing board games and puzzles (an old soul😊) and Alex enjoys playing video games, playing racquetball and podcasts. Melissa and Alex love music like, Switchfoot, Twenty One Pilots and Jon McLaughlin. The shows they can’t miss are The Office (one of my favorites as well😊), Avatar the Last Airbender and That 70's Show.

Melissa and Alex were wed at the lovely Stone House of St. Charles. They had a short and sweet ceremony where they braided a cord for their unity ceremony.

The ceremony/reception space has this wonderful and unique stained-glass wall that we really liked and at night, they light it up!

This place is awesome to work at! The getting ready house for the ladies is simply wonderful.

Each room is complete with a large mirror, perfect for dress photos/video and bride photos/video, neat furniture and plenty of bathrooms. The getting ready house for the guys is also amazing. Complete with pool table, every vintage video game you could want, big screen TV, and huge couch.

They ended the evening with a grand sparkler exit and immediately headed to their “get-away car” decorated with “just-married” banner and streamers.

After they left everybody cheered and clapped for the parents of the couple and we captured a heart-felt moment, each set of parents kissed and held up their sparklers.

These two are so nice and sweet and you can see in their photos and video, of how much these two love each other. Their families and friends were also so nice and such warm and welcoming people. Truly a joy to be around all the way around! We’ve had such a pleasure getting to know Melissa and Alex and had such great time photographing and filming their wedding and wish them Best Wishes and a lifetime of happiness.

Hey Sure shot fans!
Another awesome and fun session we are sharing today!
A sibling photo session!

We have been so fortunate to get to know this wonderful family.
We photographed and filmed mom and dad’s wedding; Devon and Tim, Little Dean’s newborn pictures, and now his one-year pictures and Miss grown-up; Karsynn’s 10 year old pictures.

We met at the rustic in unique Faust park in Chesterfield. They have so many Old houses and barns, we knew would be perfect for this session.

It was an extremely hot day and we were all very sweaty by the end of the session🥵 lol.
We all had a great time despite the hot conditions and we look forward to the next time!

Hi Sure Shot Fans!

Check out a few of our favorite photos from a recent engagement session at City Garden Sculpture Park in downtown St. Louis.

Lynda + Mike we’re supposed to have their wedding back in April, but due to the pandemic going on they postpone their wedding 😩 until August.

So, because of all that, we did not get to do their engagement session during the spring. We met at 9 a.m. to try to beat the heat on a hot July day but even then, it was still quite hot. These two took the heat in stride and did great during the session.

Lynda and Mike are an easy-going, laid-back couple who are wonderful to talk to.

They only brought two props with them for their session, a Harry Potter wand, and a lightsaber. Their wedding will be both Harry Potter/Star Wars themed slightly. So, we did our best to make a few photoshopped, fun mashup Harry Potter/Star Wars pictures.

Another great session with wonderful people.
We had a great time photographing and getting to know these two and look forward to filming and photographing their upcoming wedding!

Jack is autistic and we take a different approach when photographing his sessions.

Jack prefers things nice and quiet so we get our best shots when we just let Jack be himself and we just hangout with him.

A highlight/trailer wedding video of Dawn and Mike’s small and intimate ceremony.

These two are supposed to have their full wedding day on May 30. But due to this pandemic, they were only able to have a small ceremony with just a few people, their closest family and a few friends.

They were wed at Longview farm and park, in Town and Country. Right in front of the beautiful park house.

After the ceremony Mike and Dawn cut their little cake and we walked around the park to get photos and video of Dawn and Mike. We love being able to get drone footage on wedding days, it is one of our favorite things to do, and throughout the day, we captured plenty of drone footage, even though it was pretty windy.

Dawn and Mike will be having an another “ceremonial” ceremony and reception on later date in September.

We had a great time filming their intimate ceremony and look forward to the next event! See you guys in September! Congratulations again!

Check out the handsome little Barry and his one-year photo session!

We met up with Barry and his family at the Rex Plex park in Saint peters. We haven’t seen this little guy since his newborn session and he sure has grown!

We loved his cute little outfit, giant 1 and chalkboard sign.

For the cake smash, he wore just a diaper covered in pandas and a bow tie. He unfortunately wasn’t really into the icing, a little too sweet for him. He did manage to get icing all over the place though lol.

We had a great time photographing this little guy again, and look forward to the next time.

More fun porch photos!
Only two weeks left for porch photos!
Meet this awesome couple Kathy and Randy and thier super fun and creative children Charlotte and Aiden.

Everyone incorporated their own prop they feel represented them during quarantine. Randy had a can of Lysol, Kathy had a container of hand sanitizer, Charlotte had a book and Aiden had his video game controller. We love them people incorporate props into their sessions it really makes for a fun and unique photo.

Charlotte also busted out an incredible splits for us to cap off the session. We had a great time photographing this session and look forward to the next time😉

We will only be offering these porch/home/lifestyle sessions for 2 more weekends! Limited spaces left!

Another excellent porch session with Terry Altman and her friend Linda.

Terry set up her porch session along with her children’s families sessions. We also photographed her mother‘s 90th birthday a couple years ago and could be more honored she chose us to photograph these porch sessions for her as well.

Terry and Linda chose to do a fun casual friend style porch session. They were there fun face masks and even showed off their rival teams. We had a great time photographing this session and look forward to the next time😉

We will be offering these porch/home/lifestyle sessions for the rest of May!

Yes, that is us, Erica and Rob of Sure Shot Video + Photo!

We decided to shoot our own porch session! Let me tell you guys, not easy to do. We set the camera up on a tripod and set the timer and ran back-and-forth. You can’t get too many angles or position yourself very well with just a few seconds to run back-and-forth LOL! We had a great time and even got Bella our new puppy out for a few photos. Check out all of our fun items that we use during the Quarantine.

What were some of your favorite items to help you get through this Quarantine?

We will be extending these porch/home/lifestyle sessions throughout May!
