Meet The Buchheit’s. These guys are such a fun and loving family.  Emily and Mark are an awesome couple!  Little Leo was so good for the whole session. Otto kept everyone laughing.

This guy loves to ride his bike, swing on the swing set and play in his fort, and play with all his awesome trucks and cars. ​

We had a great time photographing little Jackson and we look forward to photographing him again someday. ​

This sweet, fun and loving couple unfortunately had to change their wedding date due to this virus. So when they reached out to us about a ‘change the date or re-save-the-date’ photo session for their new wedding date, we of course said yes. ​

We got a few shots of all the fun props; complete with all the things you need to get through this Quarantine; toilet paper and beer! ​

Then since we were in Tower Grove Park, we had to make use of the beautiful park space as well. ​

It was a cold, windy but beautiful March day when we met Vida + Elias at the City Garden in downtown St. Louis, MO for their engagement session.


Vida and Elias met the way most young people meet these days, online dating.  Obviously things went well because, here we are, at their engagement session!


We love the beautiful brick wall at City Garden, that we used as a backdrop. Then, some iconic pictures in front of the courthouse and the arch.


Next, we headed over to Tower Grove Park. Vida had picked out the perfect spot with unique column entrances and cute park benches. ​

Meredith is from Winfield, MO and Matt is from Union, Mo. They had their first date at Buffalo Wild Wings and Matt proposed to Meredith during a picnic in the park. So cute😊 These two also have a little girl, Hadley, who keeps them very busy.

Meredith and Matt had a sunny wintery warm Leap day wedding at The Larimore House in St. Louis, MO. It was a small intimate wedding with their closet friends and family. The ladies used the Larimore House to get ready in. This pre-civil war house was built in the 1800’s and has a great big window on the second-floor prefect for a wedding dress and/or bride. They had an evening ceremony in the cute chapel with more big beautiful windows. It was a short and sweet ceremony and for the “unity ceremony” they put together a clock. Later that clock was used for their “guest book” and everyone signed it. Meredith was surrounded by family with her two sisters as her bridesmaids and her daughter as flower girl. Hadley, the flower girl, wore a dress made from Meredith’s great-grandmother’s wedding dress.

Paul proposed in the exact spot where the two “met” for the first time. In the parking lot of the UMSL rec center. He had a ring box attached to their doggy, Sawyer, and of course Lindsay said “yes!”

Paul and Lindsay both love to hike, play sports, watch sports, and spend time with friends, family, and Sawyer and say their typical date style is casual, hiking, relaxing at home or hanging out with friends. They say they do not watch TV much but like Carbonaro Effect, Impractical Jokers, & The Office.

​Paul + Lindsay had a lovely winter wedding right before Christmas. They had a traditional ceremony at the beautiful Concordia Lutheran in Kirkwood, MO. For their transportation they had the St. Louis Trolly. It was so cute and they even climbed on the back for a photo. We went to Forest Park for photos after the ceremony and used a favorite spot of ours, The Muny. We had to make a spot at Ted Drewes which is these guys favorite before heading to the next spot for photos. It was so cute watching these two try to feed each other without making a mess.  Then we went to The St. Louis Public Library downtown. We had never been inside before and it was pretty amazing. This place is decked out in gold trimming everywhere, beautiful stained-glass windows, and huge archway doorways, hallways and stairways. Next, it was finally time to party at the reception at Forest Park Golf Course. For Lindsay and Paul’s first dance, Paul dabbles in guitar playing and song writing. He wrote a song first their first dance and since he could not play it and dance with Lindsay at the same time, he had his brother preformed the song. It was a great moment that made everyone teary eyed. After many laughs, a few tears and some dancing it was time for us to “punch out”.

We met Summer + Jacob at Eco Park on a windy wintery day in December. We walked the Katy Trail to use some of the woods and awesome bridges. Then we headed over to second street in St. Charles to avoid the "Main Street" holiday crowds. Even though it was pretty cold and windy these two were such troopers thought-out the session. We had a great time photographing these two and are looking forward to filming and photographing their upcoming wedding in October at Lakeside 370!

Above is a trailer/highlight video of Colleen and Robert’s wedding.

Colleen is from Pittsburgh, PA and Robert is from Tulsa, OK. It wasn’t until collage when Colleen and Robert met. It was at physical therapy at Washington University.

These two are so stylish couple and for their first date and stylish skiing trip to Lake Placid in New York was perfect for them. Together they share a love for, Sunday football, traveling, playing all kinds of sports, outdoor activities and their 5-year-old yellow lab, Blue. 

Obviously, these two were/are perfect for each other and one day Robert proposed to Colleen in Forest Park at the bottom of “art hill”. Robert arranged for all of their friends and family to all be in town as an extra surprise, and they were able to witness this special moment.

They had a lovely ceremony at Sunflower Hill Farm in Augusta, MO and their dog Blue made an excellent ring bearer. During our short time together, they showed us so much kindness and warmth, they are such a blessing to be around. These two are such a sweet, loving, and beautiful couple and we believe we captured that in this video.

We had a great time capturing Colleen and Robert special day. We wish them a lifetime of happiness and love.

These two met on the dating site eHarmony. Wes calls Lancaster Kansas his hometown and Liz says that she’s
a military brat so it’s hard to tell, lol. They had their first date at the Granite City Brewery. Wes likes to golf, fish, work on projects, and try out new adventures. Liz likes to read, shop, swim and watch movies. Together they say they love to travel and just enjoy spending time together. They say their favorite show they can’t miss is “Game of Thrones” and if their typical date style is dinner and a movie (definitely our kind of people😉).

These two were wed at the Old Stone Chapel in St. Charles. They had a short and sweet ceremony where they were recited their own vows. Next, we headed to Forest Park where the reception was going to be, Forest Park Golf Course, to get some more pictures and footage. Liz’s parents were wed at the Jewel Box in Forest Park and they wanted to make sure to go there first. then we headed to the Grand Basin to get some
wedding party pictures. It was quite a cold and windy day so, after everybody “toughed it out” with us, we headed to the reception. These two, their wedding party, and family were all so much fun to be around and all such nice people.

Check out this sneak peek + highlight video of the Thomas wedding at Hermann Hill in Hermann Missouri.

Let me start off with saying how much I love these two! Holly is our niece, so when she asked us to photograph+ film her wedding we could’ve been more excited and honored. These two had a short and sweet ceremony inside the chapel overlooking the river. They had their family nearby them, Holly’s daughters were her bridesmaids and flower girl and Allen’s father, brother and son were his groomsman.

We manage to get outside for a few shots on this insanely windy October day.  Holly and Allen did a great job with pretending like it wasn’t cold and we got some amazing photos. The reception was below in the basement with beautiful chandeliers and the best coffee bar I’ve ever seen at a wedding! Complete with every single flavor of syrup, powders, sprinkles,  and even chocolate covered spoons to stir it with.

They ended the night with the wonderful sparkler exit. We had a great time photographing in filming Holly and Allen’s wedding! Congratulations and best wishes!

A sneak peek of Stephanie & Daniel’s wedding.

Stephanie grew up in Edwardsville, IL and went to college SIUE. Which is also where we shot Steph and Dan’s engagement session. Daniel grew up in Grimes, IA and attended undergrad at Northwestern College and then law school at Liberty University.

Steph and Dan met through an online dating app and had their first date at Salt and Smoke. “It was love at first sight and knew it was something special” and before you know it, they were planning their first anniversary. Dan proposed to Stephanie after a walk-through Castlewood State Park and of course Stephanie said “yes”.

The wedding day happened exactly 2 years after they first met on October 6th, 2017. So, on October 6th, 2019, Dan and Steph were wed at Little Piney Lodge in Hermann, MO. It was a beautiful, but raining day. The rain stayed away just long enough for these two to have the ceremony outside under Little Piney’s iconic gazebo overlooking the lake. They were wed by the groom’s father and they had a lovely knot tying ceremony. During the “unity ceremony” wonderful acoustic music was played by two young ladies.

A sneak peek of Shayla and Jeff's wedding. We started the day with Shayla at the Breeze Blow Dry Bar with Emily Kettler doing and fantastic job with Shay's makeup and lashes. After Shayla headed to the hotel to get ready with her sister and Maid of Honor. Jeff and Shayla decided to do a first look at Forest Park. We love first looks and it helps some people get the "jitters" out so they can relax for the ceremony. 

A sneak peek of Devon + Tim Eskew’s wedding. These two met at Brick’s Offroad Park and had their first date at Qdoba and had ice cream. They say their typical date is hanging out listening to live music. Tim popped the big question right as Devon was coming out of the shower and completely caught her by surprise. They can’t get enough of the show America’s Got Talent. They have a girl, Karsynn and a baby boy, Dean, 2 cats and 2 dogs that keep them pretty busy but when they do have free time, they both love to create and design vinyl. Also, Tim loves dirt track racing and Devon loves arts + crafts and reading.  

The ceremony was at Devon’s family farm in Steelville Missouri right off the Huzzah River.  Devon + Tim were wed right in front of a very old barn on the property. It was a short and sweet ceremony with lots of laughs. We accomplished a lot of our “formal” photos before the ceremony since we had a bit of a drive to the next location. The reception was at fun and unique Transportation Museum. We arrived early with the couple to get some amazing and super fun photos around the property. We ended the evening with very cool night shot of the couple under the streetlight. We had a great time photographing and filming Devon + Tim’s wedding! Congratulations and best wishes!

A sneak peek of Jennifer + Nick Stanley’s wedding. These two met in high school and had their first date at a local bar. They say their typical date is dinner and a movie. Nick popped the big question on their 8-year anniversary at the bar where they had their first date. They can’t get enough of the show Game of Thrones. They have 2 boys and 3 cats that keep them pretty busy but when they do have free time, they both enjoy gaming. The wedding took place in September on Friday the 13th. The ceremony and reception were both at The Weingarten in Belleville, IL.  Jenn + Nick had a lovely ceremony where they recited their own vows and had a unity tree ceremony, where they placed dirt and watered a small tree together. They also had their cat, Mikey, “walk” down the aisle (he ended up having to be carried). Their two boys were also in the wedding party, Bastian (ring bearer) + Sonny was pulled in a wagon by one of the bridesmaids.   After the ceremony, and family formals, it was time for wedding party and bride + groom formals. Since Jenn + Nick had a “spooky theme” we saw that the property had a small cemetery and thought that would be awesome! Next, it was finally time to party at the reception and they “ended” the evening with a sparkler exit. Jennifer was thrilled to have her date on Friday the 13th (like she wanted) but to also have a full moon that evening. It ended up being a cloudy evening but we were still able to capture an amazing “moony” night shot.     We had a great time photographing Jennifer + Nick’s wedding! Congratulations and best wishes!

It was a short and sweet ceremony where the couple recited their own vows. After pictures in the park it was off to the reception Spazio’s at Westport. A sneak peek of an engagement session shot at Cliff Cave County Park. Lynn at Ryan met at The Padderborn Bar with their first date at Applebee’s. These two love cats and the show “Big Brother”. Lynn and Ryan are perfect together and you can truly see their love when they look into each other’s eyes. These guys were troopers throughout the session, despite it being pretty hot and quite a lot longer of a hike than anticipated. We had a great time getting to know these two and look forward to photographing and filming their wedding at The Falls in Columbia, IL in June of 2020. ​
