A Traditional Muslim Wedding

A preview of Savana and Sami Muslim wedding. ​

We started the day at Savana home. This would be the last day she spends in her childhood where she met Sami for the first-time years ago. So, it was the perfect place to have the first look. Of course, it wasn't a traditional first look, they danced and celebrated. A theme that would exist throughout the day.

We then headed to Forest Park with a couple for a few bride and groom photos. ​

After that we return to the home so that the couple could relax and have a bite to eat. Then, when the band showed up was back to celebrating again. from inside the house out to the front lawn where are the dancing and celebrating continued. This time with a five-piece percussion band complete with megaphone! Needless to say, everyone came out to watch in the neighborhood!

Then, we all got in our cars and paraded to the venue, The LiUNA Event Center, honking our horns the whole way! ​

When we arrived at the venue, more dancing and celebrating on our way to the actual room where the ceremony/reception would be happening. ​

The room was decorated beautifully. Even a special spot upfront on a platform stage for Sami and Savana. A beautiful white couch arced over the top of the couch and ornate flower structure, and above that their names in gobo lights. ​

We loved getting to know these two and had a wonderful time photographing and filming their wedding!
